Hunting knife

One of my first knives, a little hunting knife. It is made from an old file with a walnut and tropical wood handle. The brass spacers are made from a piece of 17th century outer hull protection of a merchant ship. These kind op brass protection plates where used to protect against tropical woodworms when sailing around the equator. Found the piece of hull protection on the beach of Terschelling, and is only used in very special projects.
